Mogren Beach
Mogren consists of two connected coves immediately west of the Old Town. A coastal path leads to them from the direction of Avala, making this a good choice when you want to combine swimming with a short walk beside the rocks.

Choose from town beaches, small coves by the walls and seafront promenades.
Mogren consists of two connected coves immediately west of the Old Town. A coastal path leads to them from the direction of Avala, making this a good choice when you want to combine swimming with a short walk beside the rocks.
Slovenska Beach is Budva's main town waterfront and stretches between the town harbour and Hotel Park. The promenade, sports courts and wide range of amenities make it practical when you want everything within easy reach.
Ričardova glava, also known as Brijeg od Budve, lies against the Old Town walls. The small waterfront has a distinctly urban character: the sea is literally beside the stone ramparts, while cafés and a stroll are just a few steps away.
Pizana is a small pebble beach at the northeastern edge of the Old Town, below Repeno Tower. Its main appeal is its location: from the water you can see the ramparts, the marina and Sveti Nikola Island.
Take a break by the marina, promenade or old town streets — at your own pace.
Jadran kod Krsta is at Slovenska obala 10. The menu includes fish and shellfish, risottos and pasta, as well as grilled dishes and home-style food — a useful choice when not everyone in the group wants the same kind of meal.
View detailsAstoria in the Old Town has different spaces: a restaurant on the hotel roof, a café at the entrance to the historic centre and a beach bar. When making arrangements, specify which one you want; the same Astoria name does not mean the same table or the same type of visit.
View detailsMozart Cafe Restaurant is in the Old Town, so you can fit a break for a drink or a meal into a visit to the pedestrianised historic centre. Check the current menu before arriving, and check table availability for a larger group.
View detailsPorto is beside the marina, making it practical for a meal between a walk along Slovenska obala and a visit to the Old Town. Before arriving, check today’s menu and your preferred part of the restaurant; a seaside location does not guarantee a table with a view.
View detailsWalls, churches, museums and squares for exploring the old town without getting lost.
The Old Town is the most concentrated part of Budva for walking, history and an evening out. Ramparts, squares, churches, museums and small streets make it a good starting point, whether you are visiting for the first time or have only a few hours.
The Citadel, formerly Kaštel Fortress, is in the southern and highest part of the Old Town. It completes the circuit of town ramparts and offers a good view of the coast and the roofs of the historic centre.
The Old Town ramparts shape Budva’s distinctive silhouette and connect towers, gates and the fortress. They make most sense as part of a visit to the historic centre, together with the Citadel and the waterfront beside Ričardova glava.
Budva Town Museum is in a 19th-century house in the Old Town. Permanent archaeological and ethnographic exhibitions help put a walk around town into a wider context, while the lapidarium on the ground floor is particularly interesting for a short visit.
Seasonal water activities and contacts to plan a more active day.
Water sport Budva is listed in the official directory for Budva Marina and Slovenska Beach, with additional seasonal locations along the riviera. In Budva, it is relevant for visitors seeking water rides and activities close to the centre.
Cool Commerce is on Slovenska Beach, below the bocce courts. The official directory lists it for parasailing, water rides, diving, water skiing and pedal boats.
Budva Diving centre is listed beside the outdoor Pizana pool in the Old Town. Its location next to the marina and ramparts makes it easy to fit into a day spent in central Budva.
Širun sport fishing club is listed beside the Harbour Master’s Office in Budva. The contact is for enquiries about local sport fishing, rather than booking a confirmed tourist excursion.
Tourist information points and transport when you need specific, up-to-date details.
The bus station is the town’s main departure point for intercity transport. It is useful for arriving in and leaving Budva, and also as a place to check specific operators and departures.
The local bus departs from Mediteranska Street, from the stop by the roundabout in central Budva, opposite Perla restaurant. For travel to Bečići, Rafailovići, Pržno and Sveti Stefan, follow the vehicle’s clearly marked direction; for taxi journeys, use official ranks and agree the fare in advance for longer routes.
For parking in Budva, first distinguish a marked on-street space from a car park with a barrier. In the centre, you can check Zetafilm and Eksponat; for a parking garage, look at TQ Plaza. These are starting options, not a promise of a free space.
For a walk from Budva towards Bečići, follow the coastal route: Slovenska obala, the end of Slovenska Beach and the connection via Zavala towards the Bečići promenade. The main road is not a substitute for a walking route.
